But if you do want a challenge, try survival or perma death, those are a LOT more challenging then normal mode, and makes all of the survival aspects of the game a lot more meaningful. If you think the Android project ogame-android-app listed in this page is inappropriate, such as containing malicious code/tools or violating the copyright, please email info at java2s dot com, thanks. Theres has been talk of a combat update for years now I dont think that's gonna come to be honest. The game lacks threats, I don't come to NMS for my space/ground combat pleasures, its my go-to Zen game, where its a game I just come to and relax, chillout while exploring the stars. Did you complete the Artemis, Atlas, Horror storylines? did you complete the Living ship storyline? The Artemis and Atlas storylines will take you about 30 hours alone. If you got 100 hours into the game and feel your done! thats pretty good, thats a lot of hours you spent into the game to be fair but you wont have seen everything after just 100 hours. Others just like to strike it rich, make as much money as humanly possible, building farms, others just like to explore and find as much about the lore of the game as possible, NMS isn't like any other game where it spoon feeds you its lore, you have to actively go out and find out which i might add, the lore of the game is pretty awesome. Others are 100% completists, even tho thats technically impossible with this game, hunting for the absolute max tech loadouts for every ship, multi tool and exosuit is what a lot of people crave to do, and that'll take you quite a bit. For others its to just simply explore the universe in hunt for that perfect ship, the perfect planet to settle a base down on to. Occasionally there is a tentacle hanging down in abandoned buildings but thats really it.ĭerlight Freigthers were the only "motivation" since the ones we got were swarm infestation.įor some, the end game is to reach the center of the universe. There is no real threath awaiting you if you go "explore" the only threat are the green monsters which are bugged and kill you even when you shouldn't have died. Me and my friend are kind of disapointed after 100 hours of gameplay, we did all of that we got what we wanted but there is nothing to do, repeated buildings on planets, and the same "dangerous plants" all over. You either go build your base/settlement, get materials refine them and thats it, sometimes even have to chose from 2 option which building to build at your settlement or solve a dispute. So what awaits you after the perfect Planet, Starship, Freighter and Settlement? I played the game for 100 hours,i came to the conlussion that there is nothing in this Game to go for, the only things you do are boring and sometimes tedious Farm/explore Quest from the Nexus, Sarship hunting (stay at Trading Outposts or Spacestations) or exploration for "better" Planets to have your Base or Settlement on.
